Hi there! I am Xin Tong and now at Shigenobu Lab to study symbiotic bacteria in gall-forming aphids! At the same time, I am also a PhD 3rd-year student in Laboratory of Systematic Entomology at Hokkaido University. My research interests include polyphenism, sex ratio theory, and the mechanisms of gall induction in gall-forming aphids.

Outside of scientific research, I like walking around and photographing foods & animals. I enjoy diverse cultures and my dream is to eat fantastic foods all over the world!
