Yuuki Kobayashi

Yuuki Kobayashi is a postdoctoral fellow of Shigenobu-lab. In his graduate student days, he studied in the field of plant science and got the Ph.D. by the research of gene family concerning xylem vessel development using Arabidopsis. Being interested in mycology, he studied genomics of mycorrhizal fungi after graduation. He sequenced and analyzed the genome of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi and ectomycorrhizal fungi (currently unpublished) at the Division of Symbiotic Systems, NIBB.

From 2020, he joined to Shigenobu-lab as a postdoc of the research project “Evolutionary theory for constrained and directional diversities” and is mainly engaged in the supportive work of the project.
